Vision and Mission Statement

Vision
  • We envision sharing the good news of salvation offered by the grace of God to numerous unchurched friends, family members and others within the San Diego area and the nation at large.
  • We envision developing all our members-new converts as well as established   members-into fully functioning disciples of Christ through people friendly worship services, Sunday School, special events, and small group ministries.
  • We envision becoming a servant-driven church of small cell groups where members model biblical community: a safe place where we accept one another and are accepted, love and are loved, shepherd and are shepherded, encourage and are encouraged, forgive and are forgiven, and serve and are served.
  • We envision aiding all our members-youth as well as adults to discover their divine designs so that they are equipped to serve Christ effectively in some ministry whether within or outside our church. Blessed Trinity’s goal: is that every member be a minister.
  • We envision welcoming numerous members into our body who are excited about Christ, experience healing in their personal lives, family relations and marriages, and grow together in love.
  • We envision recruiting, training and sending out many of our members as missionaries and church planters. We envision planting or sponsoring a new church plant every 3-5 years.

Mission Statement
The mission of Blessed Trinity is to reach the lost, make disciples and edify the body of Christ.  In pursuit of our mission we observe the following disciplines:

  1. We value the unchurched (lost people) and in obedience to the Great Commission we will use every Christ-honoring means to pursue them (Luke 4:18-19)
  2. We will attempt to reach lost and saved, San Diego in particular but the world at large. (Matt 28:19-20)
  3. We will serve the members by developing them into effective functioning disciples of Christ. (Matt 7:16-20)
  4. We seek to edify the body of Christ through effective ministry, demonstrated discipleship and committed stewardship. (Eph 4:10-16)
